EPG Security Group is an independently owned full-service security and investigative agency providing executive protection, uniformed officers, and investigative programs. Our clients range from restaurants to hotels, from corporate businesses to hospitals, from entertainers to sports celebrities, and from politicians to private individuals. Many of our clients come to us by word-of-mouth referrals, as we have built our reputation on superior customer service, communication, knowledge, experience, trust, and ethics. Led by Erik Bergling and Don Moe with more than 30 years combined security experience, EPG Security serves clients with a range of security needs, from a few hours a week to round-the-clock coverage to project work. Regardless of the size and scope of the work at hand, all our clients have a direct relationship with EPG’s CEO Erik Bergling, who is committed to personal service and the overall well-being of EPG’s clients.

ERIK R. BERGLING

Founder and CEO of EPG Security Group, Erik Bergling is a retired U.S. Marine Corps veteran with more than 16 years of experience in the security and protection field. Mr. Bergling’s work ethic and personal philosophy provide the company’s direction for customer service — honesty, loyalty, high standards, providing exactly what the client needs exactly when they need it, and exceeding expectations. Whether it’s with clients or employees, Mr. Bergling believes in building relationships and nurturing them.

Highlights from Mr. Bergling’s career include:

• Coordinating security for events with President Obama’s inauguration in Washington, DC, and with the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN.
• Close protection officer for Natan Sharansky, George Tenet, Prince, Gwen Stefani, Senators Norm Coleman and Paul Wellstone, and Israeli Diplomats.
• Provided services for NHL and NFL players’ wedding festivities, including police liaison, advance security, driving, security and crowd control.
• Mr. Bergling has a soft spot in his heart for his work with the statue dedication to Mary Tyler Moore — a celebrity dear to the hearts of Minnesotans.
• More than 100 government and private organizations have engaged Mr. Bergling as a consultant regarding personal safety, threat assessment and risk evaluation.

Mr. Bergling has traveled the world and is dedicated to supporting a diverse community back home in Minnesota. With young twin sons, he and his wife are raising their family in the heart of the Minneapolis urban community, where they spend their free time with family and friends, walking and biking the lakes, volunteering, and supporting the locally owned establishments.

DON MOE

A seasoned security professional, Don Moe is highly trained and certified and has more than 20 years of experience providing protection services, preceded by 15 years in law enforcement with Hennepin County in Minnesota and with two police departments before that. Mr. Moe is also an intense trainer and instructor in the areas of firearms, force and control tactics, and more.

Mr. Moe’s personal motto is “Give of myself unselfishly for the greater good of those I serve.” He brings to EPG clients unwavering integrity, dedicated to finding ways for security programs to enhance their business, down to the smallest details that can affect their safety and comfort. He knows that whether a client is a business executive, politician, or celebrity, they value a security provider who adds to their ability to go about their work without interrupting their daily activities. Mr. Moe’s commitment to training and advance security preparation is unparalleled, enabling clients to conduct their daily affairs with minimum restrictions or interruptions and with the maximum speed, safety, and success.

Highlights from Mr. Moe’s career include:

• Working with the Republican National Convention.
• Personal security specialist for former Hamas member Joseph Youseff.
• Security for Usher Raymond’s birthday party in Rockefeller Center for more than 700 VIPs.
• Personal protection agent for Naomi Campbell, Yolanda King, Chaka Kahn, Israeli Army Commander Elliot Shodoff, and former PLO terrorist Walid Shoebat.
• Assisted in anti-terrorism training for major airlines and personnel post-911.
• Consultant to more than 150 government and private organizations regarding personal safety, threat assessment, and risk evaluation.

Mr. Moe and his wife have raised their family in St. Paul, Minnesota, and he has traveled and worked internationally. Mr. Moe’s dedication to serving others naturally extends to volunteering in the community locally and worldwide. With his church, he will be traveling to Haiti to help in the ongoing restoration and reconstruction efforts.
